Research run finished8 ideas ready for your review

Every idea has been researched before you see it. Pulse reads the Google results page, the AI Overview, Reddit threads and industry news for each topic, then hands you the evidence and a brief a writer can start from.

Matched to your strategy

Every idea is tied to a buyer you sell to and a topic you want to own.

Pulse proposes ideas for the buyers and content pillars in your Context, and tags each idea with the buyer it serves and the pillar it supports. Sort any run by buyers to see which audiences are covered and which pillars are getting attention. Pulse can also turn your positioning directly into topic ideas.

Ideas start from what’s winning in search, Reddit and industry news.

For every topic, Pulse reads the full Google results page: whether an AI Overview appears and what it covers, the People Also Ask questions, the formats that rank, and the length, structure and age of every ranking page. It also reads Reddit threads on the subject and dated industry news, so ideas reflect what buyers are currently asking.

The research, kept

Open any idea and see the research behind it.

Each run is deep research, and each idea stores what it found. Open an idea to see the searches it came from, the questions buyers are asking and the evidence behind the recommendation. Reddit threads and news stories arrive as real links with their dates. Each run also generates topic directions with their own hooks and angles.

Each researched idea comes with a brief a writer can start from.

Each researched idea arrives with a brief: the angle to take and the points to cover. When a run starts from a keyword, the brief goes further, with the questions to answer, the terms the ranking pages share, a word range taken from those pages, the sections to include and the schema to add.

You approve first

You approve each idea before anything is written.

Ideas arrive as proposals. Your team approves or rejects each one, and can edit the title or angle first. An approved idea can become content in a click, or approve several and we write them together. All content is written from its brief and your Context.

Straight answers about Ideation.

Who runs the research?

Our account team does. We start each run from the keywords in your visibility report, from your positioning and pillars, or from topics your team sends us. We review the results, then share the ideas with your team.

What do we have to do?

Review the ideas and tell us which to write. Our team runs the research, prepares the briefs and writes the approved pieces. Your team can edit a title or an angle, or send us a topic, at any point.

Can we bring our own topics?

Yes. Send us a topic or a list and our team adds them. Your topics sit alongside the ideas Pulse proposes, and we can build a research run around any of them.

Are the Reddit threads and news real?

Yes. Reddit threads are found through a search of Reddit itself, so a thread appears only if it exists. News comes from Google News with its publish date, so you can see how recent each story is.

Does every idea come with a brief?

Every idea from a research run does. Topics you send us carry the notes you give us until we research them. The full results-page brief, with questions, terms and a word range, comes with runs that start from a keyword.

Why is search volume missing on some terms?

Google hides search volume for some health and cosmetic terms. The brief marks those as unknown instead of estimating them.

Who approves the ideas?

Your team has the final say. Our team reviews each run first and recommends which ideas to take forward. Ideas wait as proposals until they are approved or rejected, and only an approved idea becomes content.
